Del Paso Foundation Scholarship
Del Paso Foundation offers the R. B. âBudâ Roberts Memorial Scholarship on its website. They are a public foundation that will award scholarship funds and grants to support Sacramento area youth engaged in the golf, hospitality, and food service industries. In addition, children in need and youth golf participants are also eligible to receive the Foundationâs scholarship funds and grants. Scholarships and donations will be awarded at the Foundation Boardâs discretion and based on need and academic achievement. The Foundation Board will support the Sacramento community and choose recipients from the Sacramento area.

Morton Golf Foundation Scholarship
To recognize juniors that have gone through any Northern California Golf Association, the First Tee – Greater Sacramento or high school program or worked at a golf facility and assist them with their higher education needs, the Morton Golf Foundation will provide college scholarships in 2023 to be given to high school seniors in Sacramento regional schools.
Eligibility
âą Must have completed the junior year of high school.
âą Must enroll at a college or university of their choice. Community colleges & Trade schools are eligible.
âą Must have outstanding personal character, sportsmanship, and leadership qualities.
âą Must have participated in a JGANC, JTNC, First Tee â Greater Sacramento member or any high school golf team for at least one event, program, or membership year or worked at a golf facility during your high school years.
âą High school must be within 50 miles of the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex.

First Tee College Scholarship Program
The enhanced First Tee College Scholarship Program is designed to provide further support, life skill development, and mentorship of our alums through their journey. Higher education continues to be a critical factor in unlocking opportunities for young people to thrive, and First Tee is committed to their success.
First Tee College Scholarship Program supports selected alums throughout their college careers. The need and the merit-based program provide scholarships up to $5,000 per year, renewable for up to four years of college admission. The program also offers professional development workshops, access to internships, and full-time employment placement post-graduation. One of the critical factors of the program is pairing Scholars with a dedicated adult mentor who will help encourage and guide them throughout the four years.
The program is open to graduating high school seniors planning to attend college the following year. Applicants must be active members of First Tee chapters and will be considered based on financial need, academic performance, chapter involvement, volunteerism and other criteria.
Youth on Course Scholarship Program
Through the Youth on Course Scholarship Program, high school seniors can continue on a path to success through higher education that might otherwise be out of reach.
Since the inception of the YOC Scholarship Program in 2008, they have awarded over $ 2.6 million to over 300 outstanding high school seniors to support their pursuit of higher education, many of which have become the first in their families to attend college. YOC Scholarships are need and merit-based.

CHRIS THOMAS NCPGA ASSOCIATE SCHOLARSHIPS
Northern California PGA Associates who have completed “Level 1” of the PGA Professional Golf Management Program may apply for the Foundation’s NCPGA Associate Scholarship. This scholarship is funded through the Charity Golf Challenge, #GivingTuesday, and direct donations.

THE LANGLEY SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Jim Langley Scholarship Fund assists students residing within the NCPGA Section’s bounds with post-secondary schooling costs. Graduating high school seniors are provided with a means to achieve their dreams and promote the fundamental values that the game of golf has to offer. The $2,000 scholarship is awarded to one boy and one girl annually.

CHEVRON LANGLEY VETERAN’S SCHOLARSHIP
The Chevron Langley Veteranâs Scholarship, sponsored by the Chevron Veteranâs Network, was established by the Northern California PGA Foundation to recognize and assist United States veterans pursuing post-secondary education. Renewable scholarships are offered yearly for full-time undergraduate study at colleges and universities. While Chevron is investing in those students that align with our key disciplines, these scholarships are not a guarantee of employment at Chevron.
