As industry leaders in education, the Association of Golf Merchandisers kicks off the official start of the 2020 PGA Merchandiser Show in Orlando with their Annual Retail Conference and Award Ceremony on January 21, 2020.
A highlight of this event are the AGM Platinum Awards Ceremony where the premier golf shops in the world are recognized based on criteria that includes a combination of visual displays, customer service initiatives, social media initiatives, shop renovations, promotional ideas, merchandising events, innovative use of fixtures or props, retail initiatives, staff training and growing the game of golf at their facilites. Experiential retail is also a hot topic and is becoming the new norm for driving traffic and increasing sales in brick and mortar retail establishments these days. The Association of Golf Merhandisers 2020 Platinum Awards also recognizes the premier golf shops who have created in-shop experiences for their members/customers.
On the evening of January 21, 2020, at 4 pm, the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop was recognized as a 2020 Platinum Award Winner and also received special recognition as a “Best of the Best” Golf Shop during the reception.
The AGM Retail Conference is always a busy event in Orlando showcasing an outstanding line-up of seminars and speakers that transitions into a Product Preview and Reception that presents a sneak peek of the offerings from over 90 AGM Vendor Partners before the official start of the PGA Merchandise Show.
