Breaking News: Small Plane Crash at Bing Maloney Golf Course

We wanted to do an update on a plane crash that happened on the Bing Maloney Golf Course on Friday, August 23, 2013.

A small plane went down between the 2nd and 7th holes after take-off in a grove of beefwood trees. Both pilot and his passenger have been taken to the hospital but look to have non-life-threatening injuries based on early news reports.

If you have a tee time on Saturday, August 24, 2013, at Bing Maloney, please note that the front 9 will be closed due to the FAA investigation and a Haz Mat clean-up of fuel on the ground that will still need to be completed. There has been no other damage to the course. THE REST OF OUR FACILITY WILL BE OPEN.

Golfers will be able to play the back 9 twice for 18, the E-9 for their second 9 or simply play a 9-hole rate. The restaurant, driving range, pro shop, back 9 and Express 9 will be all be open for play. Our thoughts are with the pilot, his passenger and their families to have a full recovery from their injuries. Please call 916-808-2283 for questions.
