The California Long Drive Championship is being held at the Haggin Oaks on November 4th
The California Long Drive Championship is divided into four categories:
- Pro: $300 entry
- Amateur: $200 entry
- Ladies: $200 entry
- Senior: $200 entry
Participants are able to arrive at 3:30 to warm up for the event, with balls provided for warming up. The tournament will begin at 4:30 on the 1st Tee of the Alister MacKenzie course with a round robin format followed by a cut to top 6. Participants will have 3 balls to hit as far as they can. After all participants have taken their shots, they will cut to the top 6 and divide them into two sets of players. The winners from both sets will move on to the finals, where they will face off in match play until one of them is crowned the winner!
