South African professional golfer, Charl Schwartzel, won the 2011 Masters Tournament by two strokes over the weekend, with a final round of 66. He birdied the final four holes to secure the Green Jacket over runner-ups Adam Scott and Jason Day. This was Schwartzel’s first major championship win and it moved him from #29 to #11 in the world golf rankings.
Charl Shwartzel had a full bag of 14 Nike clubs. He scored an eagle on the third hole in the final round of the tournament when he holed in his second shot from the fairway. What was in his hands at the time? His Nike VR Pro 54-degree wedge.
