Construction has begun on the MacKenzie Putting Course at Haggin Oaks. The putting course will be located directly behind the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop (between the Super Shop and the Driving Range hitting stalls) and will include a 9-hole putting course. The synthetic putting greens will also have artificial sand traps, a large water feature, palm trees and natural landscaping.
The plan, weather and construction permitting, will be to have the MacKenzie Putting Course Grand Opening during the Haggin Oaks Golf Expo weekend, April 25 – 27, 2014.
The Haggin Oaks Driving Range will be a construction zone for some time. The first two or three weeks will be the demolition phase. The process began on Monday, February 3, 2014. The planter boxes, trees and cement will be pulled out to make way for the new MacKenzie Putting Course. The second half of the project will involve the shaping and laying of the turf.

The MacKenzie Putting Course will be open the same hours as the Haggin Oaks Driving Range.
