If you’re like me, then you look forward to each new month on the calendar, because it means that Chef Blanca has whipped up a whole new batch of specials for MacKenzie’s Sports Bar & Grille at Haggin Oaks. My mouth is watering just looking at the descriptions for December’s specials. If you like eggnog, then you MUST try the Eggnog French Toast & Sausage breakfast special. That meal sounds rich and delicious and just in time to put everyone in the holiday spirit! Personally, I can’t wait to try the featured salad, with its combination of bleu cheese (yum!), walnuts and tri-tip – this hearty salad is sure to keep me satisfied until dinner! Tender turkey in a tomato sauce with water crest, tomato beets and mayo served on a hoagie roll with a side of mashed potatoes.
