Santos Perez (@doodlesndivots) is inspired by golf and loves to play at the Haggin Oaks Driving Range
Santos Perez is @doodlesndivots, an artist with golf on the brain. Ever since he started playing golf in 2005, the sport captured his imagination and put his artistic drive into full gear, constantly wanting to improve himself on the course and the canvas.
As a self-described ‘golf punk,’ Santos’ cartoon portraits and paintings pop off the canvas. There’s an imperfect imperfection to it, which Santos thinks represents himself well. There’s always something about one of his designs that inspires him to improve with each piece, a feeling that carries over to his golf game. It’s all about that feeling that you can do it again but more perfect each time.
Santos loves hitting the Haggin Oaks Driving Range as a way to work through his artistic blocks. He loves being able to play courses across the world with Virtual Golf, including his favorite course Torrey Pines.
As a father, Santos also likes to hit the Haggin Oaks Driving Range with his daughter to spend some quality father-daughter time. With games on Toptracer like Go Fish and the MacKenzie Putting Course, he’s able to shares his love of the game with his daughter.
