Driving Range Improvements at Bing Maloney

Recent improvements provide a better practice environment on the driving range at Bing Maloney.

Have you visited the driving range at Bing Maloney recently? This past summer, Bing Maloney added a new cover to keep you cool in the heat of the summer and dry during the winter chill.

The driving range cover, provided by CoverShots Mobile Canopies, measures 104′ long and 15′ high. Golfers will enjoy less fatigue, less risk of heat stroke or heat exhaustion and less exposure to harmful UV rays while staying out of the direct sunlight and under the shade. No need to worry about possible inclement weather either – the cover will protect from sun and rain. At night, enjoy practicing your game under the lights too.

In September, the work continued with the installation of green grass and a putting surface that will be completed by the first of October. There are a few finishing touches left to get the driving range in tip top shape, but our staff is excited to provide a better practice facility to our guests. Be sure to stop by the pro shop the next time you come out and let us know what you think of the changes!

The Bing Maloney Driving Range is located at 6801 Freeport Boulevard in Sacramento. The Bing Maloney Golf Complex features an 18 hole Championship Golf Course and the Express 9-hole Golf Course. Visit BingMaloney.com for more information.
