The Interlude Golf Group plays out of a bar on Eastern Avenue every week at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex.
Ernie’s Interlude is a local dive bar celebrating over 60 years in Sacramento. With a great crew and karaoke every Friday and Saturday from 9 pm to close, and Happy Hour daily from 4 to 7 pm.
Ernie Mascovich established the bar in 1959. He was an avid golfer.
The Interlude Golf Group started in 1975 when four customers started playing golf together weekly then began inviting other players.
In 1992 Ernie asked one of his customers to make conversation tables with courses throughout California. They created bag tags and embedded and shellacked them onto his tables.
Below are three of the bag tags associated with Morton Golf. Obviously, the Land Park bag tag must have been slammed with a beer bottle.
