Check out this quick guide to give you the main ins and outs of the 2019 Haggin Oaks Golf Expo. It includes all the key details to ensure that you don’t miss anything!
First and foremost – the dates!
The Haggin Oaks Golf Expo is ALWAYS held the last weekend in April. This year is no exception. The show runs Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28. The official hours on Friday and Saturday are 9 am until 5 pm. On Sunday, the show ends an hour earlier at 4 pm.
What is the cost of admission?
Admission is free! There is a $5 parking fee for each day of the show. The Arcade Creek Golf Course is turned into a parking lot for these three days; therefore parking is plentiful! There are also golf carts available that will pick you up from your car and take you to and from the show. The goal is to make this easy for everyone to get in and out of the event! There are lots of parking attendants to help lead the way to your spot!
What do you need to do BEFORE the show?
The Golf Expo Newsletter
Sign up for the Haggin Oaks Golf Expo email newsletter! This is your best bet to stay in touch with specials, information and each day’s schedule of events. This is your best bet to keep up to date on all the cool things going on. And we are giving away a free $10 gift card every day leading up to the show for one lucky subscriber.

Back of the Range Fitting
If you are interested in getting custom fit for a particular club and you know the vendor you want to buy, then you want to schedule a private 1-hour fitting at the back of the driving range. This allows you to step away from the crowds at the front of the range and work one-on-one with a professional fitter to get your new club(s) dialed in. Space is limited at the back of the driving range and appointments are required. Call 916-808-2531 to schedule.
There is a $25 charge for these appointments. However, you can apply that fee towards any purchase made on that day! Plus, many vendors are offering a free gift just for booking an appointment at the back of the driving range – no purchase necessary! It is a great deal and your best bet if you are interested in purchasing a new set of clubs during the Haggin Oaks Golf Expo weekend. Vendors that will have fitters at the back of the driving range include Cobra, PING, PXG, Srixon, Cleveland, Titleist, Callaway, Wilson, Tour Edge, TaylorMade or Mizuno. XXIO will also be scheduling private fittings inside the Player Performance Studio at the front right side of the driving range.
Plan to go to the left side of the first tee on the MacKenzie Golf Course about 15 minutes before your scheduled fitting and we have complimentary transportation available to take you to and from the back of the driving range. Don’t forget, call 916-808-2531 to get your appointment scheduled!
What should you bring to the Haggin Oaks Golf Expo?
A putter! If you are interested in participating in the Sacramento City Putting Championship, then grab your putter as you head out the door! The Sacramento City Putting Championship costs $5 to enter and qualifications take place on Friday and Saturday. The final contestants will meet up on Sunday to compete for the title of Sacramento City Putting Champion! Prizes are awarded and there are divisions for men, women, and juniors! This event is a fan favorite and fun to compete in and watch! It will be held on the MacKenzie Putting Green in front of the Pro Shop.
Your old golf equipment… Haggin Oaks will be accepting trade-ins of your old golf clubs during the three days of the show (trade-ins are actually accepted year round!) A tent will be set up behind the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop offering top dollar for all of your old equipment. If you want to know the values before you head to the facility, check out the PGA Value Guide – Haggin Oaks uses this source to determine trade-in prices. Click HERE to find values now. You will receive a Morton Golf gift card that can be used anywhere on the property – during the Haggin Oaks Golf Expo or anytime after! This gift card can be used for equipment, in the restaurant, on the driving range or to pay for your next round of golf.
When is the best time to go to the show?
This is a question we get all the time and the answer depends on what you want to do when you get here! The Garage Sale and Value Center is the BEST place to go for awesome pricing on closeout and used golf clubs. We have been saving our trade-ins for months and it will all be on sale and marked to go on Friday morning. If you want a fabulous deal and aren’t looking for the newest models, then you want the Garage Sale and Value Center tent to be your first stop. There will be over $150,000 worth of inventory priced to move! The tent officially opens at 9 am on Friday, but we are going to try to open it as early as 8 am as long as we are ready to go! Many of the items in this tent are single items – and when they are gone, they’re gone! So definitely start here and early on Friday morning!
Many apparel vendors will also be set up in front of the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop with their vendor samples and special buys that are brought in just for the show! Quantities are limited so the earlier you check out these areas, the better the selection!
If there is a particular program you want to see, then watch the schedule of events to see who is on the ESPN 1320 Golf to Go stage! Here is the link to keep you up to date – check back often as this will be updated right up to the start of the show!
