I love getting the list of our monthly food specials early so that I can make lots of excuses to schedule meetings in our restaurant for the month! (Aren’t I sly?)
MacKenzie’s Sports Bar and Grille always offers great value and that gets kicked up a notch when our food specials include our dollar appetizer menu deal. This month we’re featuring our mini chicken quesadilla and it is a fab find for only a buck!
I also know that I’ll be in to try the tempura shrimp po-boy – I wonder how it compares to those I’ve experienced on Bourbon Street in New Orleans? I suppose there is only one way to find out, right? I’m also a big fan of our salads out at MacKenzie’s (our cobb salad is excellent) and so I have high hopes for this month’s Chipotle Steak Salad. I love tri-tip and the chipotle dressing sounds like the perfect finish. What will you try first?

Two farm fresh eggs cooked to order with two fluffy blueberry pancakes topped with sliced bananas.

Juicy chicken and cheese inside a fresh flour tortilla. Served drizzled with homemade salsa.

Chipotle Steak Salad….. $9.99
Garden fresh mixed greens. Cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions & croutons topped with juicy tri-tip and tossed with chipotle dressing.
■ Sandwich
Tempura Shrimp Po-Boy…. $7.99
Served on a toasted hoagie roll with aioli, shredded lettuce and tomatoes. Accompanied by an order of our delicious seasoned French fries.
