What is Saturday Practice and Play Program?
The Saturday Practice and Play Program is one of a kind! This program offers participants one hour of group practice (coach to student ration 1:5), followed by one hour of on course play/practice. We have specifically designed this course to allow students the opportunity to learn or work on a specific skill and then put it to use on the course. The program is for students that have playing experience and understand the fundamentals of the game. The goal of the class is for students to have a grasp of how to practice, learn more about the rules and etiquette of the sport and understand what course management means and how to apply that during a round of golf.
The Bing Maloney Golf Course is proud of its status as an official The First Tee golf facility. The First Tee is an international not-for-profit organization with a mission “to impact the lives of young people by providing facilities and educational programs that promote character-development and life-enhancing values through the game of golf.”
