Rory McIlroy took up a challenge against hitting golf balls against a Golf Laboratory Computer Hitting Robot in a video recently posted by the European Tour… this robot has a quick wit and a bit of an attitude on the driving range against Rory during this skills challenge. It looks like Rory had some prior experience practicing his game with washers and dryers as a kid – so what better place than to bring these illustrious machines out to the PGA National Resort & Spa in Florida for a very unique throwdown!
“Have you ever thought about becoming something else, like becoming a photo copier?” Rory McIlroy asks at one point during the good-natured competition.
Meanwhile, the robot retorts, “Tiger Woods would have been home with his feet up by now.”
