We’re a month away from our 4th Annual Golf & Guitars Charity Golf Tournament and Concert at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex. Country superstars Jack Ingram (returning as our host for this event), Clay Walker, Chuck Wicks, Jimmy Wayne, Ty Herndon, Love & Theft, John Berry, Deana Carter, Julie Roberts, Steel Magnolia, Bryan White, Restless Heart’s Larry Stewart and Jason Michael Carroll are all scheduled to appear. This concert is unique because each artist plays a handful of their best hits in an acoustic storytelling format. In previous years, several of the artists have even mingled in the crowd with fellow concert-goers. This is your opportunity to bring your lawn chairs, your friends, your family and enjoy an evening out on the golf course.
Why do we host Golf & Guitars? Our goal is to raise funds and awareness for two worthy children’s charities. 100% of the net funds raised are donated between two non-profit charities. The mission of the Morton Golf Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity, is to provide golf programs that provide exercise in a healthy outdoor environment, to create a recreational environment that builds lasting personal development and that seamlessly introduces life’s core values of the great game of golf to the youth, disabled and underserved communities in the Sacramento region. The Keaton Raphael Memorial, is also a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that supports children with cancer and their families by providing emotional, educational and financial support, while increasing awareness and funding research toward a cure.
