The Haggin Oaks Golf Complex is thrilled to be partnering with KNCI 105.1 FM and hosting the 7th Annual Golf & Guitars Music Festival and Children’s Charity Concert on May 19 and May 20.
The hottest acts in country music, the up-and-coming artists you’ll soon see topping the charts and Nashville’s best songwriters are all donating their time to help raise funds for children’s charities during the 2014 Golf and Guitars KNCI Music Festival at Haggin Oaks.
New for 2014! Join us on Monday, May 19 for our Singer/Songwriter Showcase. This concert is reserved exclusively for Golfers and VIP Ticket Holders ONLY! If you have traveled to Nashville, then you are probably familiar with the world famous little club, The Bluebird Café, where all of country music’s brightest songwriters share their latest poetry set to music. For our golfers and VIP guests, we’re bringing that same intimate storytelling environment to Golf & Guitars. A dozen songwriters will be sharing the best of their craft during this exclusive event… singing songs you’ll recognize as smash country radio singles. Participating artists include Thomas Rhett, Rhett Atkins, Trevor Rosen, Matt Ramsey, Erin Enderlin, Johnny Bulford, Jason Eady, Chris Roberts, Ira Dean, Hannah Blaylock, Logan Brill and Matt Jenkins.
On Tuesday, May 20, the Golf and Guitars main concert event brings Montgomery Gentry, David Nail, Dustin Lynch, Love & Theft, Craig Campbell, Frankie Ballard, Swon Brothers, Chuck Wicks, Eric Paslay and The Cadillac Three to the stage.
It’s all for a good cause too! Half of the funds raised from Golf & Guitars will go to support the Morton Golf Foundation and half will be paid out via a tournament purse to the artist’s children’s charity . The first place artist will have a check for $30,000 cut to their 501(c)(3) charity of choice.
