The driving range at Haggin Oaks is open 24 hours a day May 1 through September 30, with varying hours the remainder of the year, and has just been recognized by the GRAA in the December 2019 edition of Golf Range Magazine as a Top 50 Open to the Public driving range.

The Haggin Oaks Driving Range features 100 hitting stalls and the Power Tee, a self-teeing system that is considered one of the most productive and enjoyable practice aids available to a golfer on today’s ranges. The Haggin Oaks driving range also features realistic target greens that are located at approximately 75, 100, 150, 175 and 200 yards out in the range (depending on which hitting stall you are located on).

The driving range at Haggin Oaks is a full practice facility, complete with a putting course, chipping green and three Academy Holes that can be rented and used to practice your short game with course-like conditions. Tom Morton was also recognized with a Growth of the Game Teaching Professional Elite Member Status Award in the December 2019 edition of Golf Range Magazine. This is a newly established category for the magazine that recognizes the top Growth of the Game Teaching Professionals who have been named to Golf Range Magazine’s Top 50 list a minimum of five times. Tom is a decorated 13-year PGA Member and the first to be named a PGA Master Professional in Player Development. He was recently named the 2017 PGA Player Development Award recipient. Among his many accolades, Morton is a seven-time Northern California PGA Section award winner and the recipient of the 2014 PGA Youth Player Development Award.
