At the recent 2013 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida, the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop was honored by the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) when it received the award for being one of the Top 10 Golf Shops in America during the 2013 AGM Platinum Awards ceremony on the PGA Merchandise Show main stage.
This was the inaugural award from the AGM recognizing premier golf shops from across the country; however, it is a combination of the former GolfWorld 100 Best Golf Shops and the AGM Front Nine Awards.
“The 100 Best Golf Shops program has been part of Golf World (and, previously, Golf Shop Operations) for 27 years, but as the magazine has evolved, the editors have come to recognize that the AGM, our partner for many years, would be the best caretaker for this valued franchise,” said Mike Johnson, Senior Editor for Golf World. “We are grateful to the AGM for stepping up and preserving this worthy tribute to top retailers.”
The Haggin Oaks Golf Complex is one of only two retailers that won the 100 Best Golf Shop award for all 27 years from Golf World and Morton Golf is proud to have received special recognition from the AGM in their inaugral Platinum Awards.
Recognition was given to the best public, private, resort and off-course golf shops.
