The Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop has received the 2018 Platinum Award for “Best of the Best” Golf Shops from the Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM)
The Platinum Awards recognize premier golf shops around the world. The most creative and innovative retail accomplishments by clubs and facilities were honored with an AGM Platinum Award during the Annual Retail Conference in Orlando in January, 2018. The common denominator among the honorees is they are all “profitable shops, ever-focused on the small details that make them successful. Their promotional plans are well-executed, their initiatives are always interesting and their customer relationships run deep.” The program, now in its sixth year, received several hundred entries from golf properties world-wide. Haggin Oaks has been a Platinum Award winner every year since its inception.
Ken Morton, Jr., Heather Hadley, Ken Morton, Sr., Mike Woods, Tom Morton, Brett Parks and other key staff members accepted the award during the AGM Annual Retail Conference in Orlando the day before the start of the PGA Merchandise Show.
According to Heather Hadley, Women’s Apparel Buyer for Morton Golf, “I feel proud. It feels great to be part of an award-winning team that is alwasy striving to improve their excellence.”

In addition to the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop, the following facilities were also recognized as the “Best of the Best” of all the Platinum Award winners: Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge, Congressional Country Club, Country Club of Lincoln, Kapalua – The Bay Course, Manchester Country Club, Reynolds Lake Oconee – The National, Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, Saratoga National Golf Club and Westin Kierland.

The Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop is located at 3645 Fulton Avenue in Sacramento, CA. The Haggin Oaks Golf Complex features 36-holes of golf, including the Alister MacKenzie Golf Course which was designed by renowned golf course architect Alister MacKenzie who designed over 50 golf courses, but may be best known for Augusta National Golf Club, Cypress Point Club and Royal Melbourne Golf Club. The facility features a driving range that is open 24-hours a day during the summer and a 13,000 square foot retail Super Shop. Haggin Oaks is also home to “America’s Largest Demo Days” – the Haggin Oaks Golf Expo which is held annually on the last weekend in April.
