Morton Golf would like to welcome two new golf professionals, Hank Vereschzagin and Calvin Carpenter to the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop!
Hank Vereschzagin: Hank was born in Sacramento attending Christian Brothers H.S. and playing varsity baseball. He then played Division I baseball at Centenary College in Shreveport, LA. Hank grew up in Sacramento playing Lindale Golf Course, Bing Maloney and Haggin Oaks. He currently carries a plus handicap and is at the beginning stages of working toward his PGA membership. He believes in teaching the core fundamentals and utilizing a players’ feel over technical jargon to achieve long lasting results. It is the camaraderie of the game that he enjoys most and looks forward to creating that environment with all of his customers.
Calvin Carpenter: Born and raised in McFarland, WI, a small town outside of Madison, Calvin started playing golf at the age of 10. He played on the Wisconsin State Golf Association Junior Tour and in his senior year of high school was a state champion with his golf team. At age 25, Calvin decided to go back to college and pursue a degree in Golf Enterprise Management from the University of Wisconsin, Stout. After graduating, he looked for an opportunity in a 12-month season, hopefully in California. He enjoys teaching the game of golf and watching the transformation of his players, but above all, he believes that no matter what someone is doing, that it should first and foremost, be fun. Holding to his Wisconsin roots, Calvin is a Badger, Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan!
