Morton Golf is very excited to introduce Stacy Baker as the new Golf Course Superintendent at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento, CA.
Stacy will bring a wealth of knowledge to our facility and has a proven track record of improving golf course conditions. Most recently employed at Peach Tree Country Club in Marysville, Stacy created impeccable conditioning and plans to do the same at Haggin Oaks. Morton Golf is excited to benefit from Stacy’s knowledge, work ethic and skills. Stacy is very excited to join the Morton Golf Team and specifically the hard working Maintenance Team. Stacy will start January 1st, 2013.
Morton Golf is also extremely proud of Tommy Hopkins.Tommy has proven to live the “Morton Golf Core Values” as well as anyone in the Morton Golf Company. Tommy did an outstanding job as the Assistant Superintendent and as the Interim Superintendent over the last few months. Tommy has a bright future with Morton Golf, and we are excited to see Tommy advance within the Morton Golf Company over the coming years. Tommy will assume the Assistant Superintendent role at Haggin Oaks, and he is excited to do so.
The Haggin Oaks Golf Complex boasts two golf courses, including the MacKenzie Golf Course, designed by Alister MacKenzie – the mastermind behind Augusta National. Haggin Oaks also offers the Arcade Creek golf course, a relatively flat layout designed and built to be friendly to every skill level.
