Karl & Karen Brookhyser enjoys Haggin Oaks putting green, great weather, and fun times putting a few times a week.
The brother/ sister duo both enjoy golf and no better place to feel safe and enjoy the afternoons than Haggin Oaks Golf Complex. Karl has been a member of the First Tee – Greater Sacramento, California Eagles for the past 10 years.
Today was an adventure day at Haggin Oaks. Karl enjoys wildlife so we jumped on a cart and headed out on the MacKenzie golf course to see the ducks. Next time they come to Haggin Oaks Karl wants to see what we can find on the Arcade Creek golf course.
When Karl is not putting in the afternoons at Haggin Oaks he can be seen on Tuesday evenings starting in May in the California Eagles program.
Thanks, Karl & Karen for feeling at home at Haggin Oaks.
See you next week!

The California Eagles is a golf program for athletes of all ages with special needs. The program includes, but is not limited to those with Down Syndrome, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Multiple Sclerosis, Attention Deficit Disorder, Deaf, Blind, or recovering from Heart Attacks and Strokes.
The purpose of the program is to give persons with special needs the opportunity to learn and enjoy the great game of golf. The ultimate goal is to have all of the athletes play golf well enough so they can participate with friends, family and others.
