Shop Small is a nationwide movement created by American Express in 2010 to promote and celebrate small businesses. In doing so, they encourage shoppers to remember the holidays are all about giving – and the best gift you can provide local businesses is your support. In the spirit of giving, get out there and Shop Small this Small Business Saturday on Nov 26 and kick off the season meaningfully. Undoubtedly, small businesses are our community’s backbone and need our local residents’ support. Last but not least Small Business Saturday is an annual event celebrated on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Haggin Oaks is a proud founding partner of this movement.
What can I do to support?
As a customer, you can support your local small businesses in a lot of ways. Go out and patronize them and share on your social networks. Use the hashtag #ShopSmall to connect with new small businesses throughout your community.
