Luke Price & Nikki Chindavong Take First Tee – Greater Sacramento Junior Tour Golf Championship Titles

First Tee – Greater Sacramento held its Junior Tour Golf Championship at the end of October at the Timber Creek GC at Sun City Roseville and kids from around the region showed off their incredible golfing skills and prowess with low scores across the course- proving that the Sacramento region is never short of great golf talent.

The overall boys champion was 15-year-old Luke Price of Rocklin with a -1 score of 71.

Price got off to a quick start, birdieing his first two holes and holding on for an under-par score to take the boys title. The win was Price’s third of the year, previously winning the Alta Sierra tournament in June and the event at Haggin Oaks in October.

Nikki Chindavong, another 15-year-old from Fairfield won the girls title with a +3 score of 75. The title is Chindavong’s second victory of the season following her T-1 at Bing Maloney in September.

A special recognition goes to 13-year-old Akira Ransi of Folsom who blistered the course with five birdies enroute to winning the boys 12-13 division with a +1 score of 73.
