We are all excited to WELCOME Chef Victor de la Torre as the new Executive Chef at MacKenzie’s Sports Bar & Grille.
Chef Victor started at MacKenzie’s on February 27, 2024, and is eager to showcase his talents.
Before coming to Haggin Oaks, he had been in the hotel/restaurant industry for the past 15 years. He has held titles such as Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef and National Trainer for amazing companies like Paul Martin’s, P.F. Chang’s and Out of Bounds Brewing. He also worked for 5 star and luxury hotels such as Hilton, Marriott and Rosewood Hotel.
Chef Victor loves what he does and is excited to bring his talent and enthusiasm to Haggin Oaks. We cannot wait to experience his talent in creating new dishes, and new recipes as well as learning from his co-workers. He prides himself on being a Team Player who always looks for new ideas while maintaining communication with his Team.
Chef Victor was raised in East Palo Alto, California, and comes to us with a very professional background. He moved to Sacramento approximately 8 years ago. He is a father of two amazing kids, a girl and a boy along with their English bulldog which he enjoys spending time with on his days off.
We all cannot wait to taste test the newest dishes that will be served at banquets and events held throughout the year at Haggin Oaks.
