Angels for Hearts is a new non-profit that the Morton Golf Foundation is sponsoring. Last Saturday was the first of 5 clinics for “Angels for Hearts” that was held at Del Paso Country Club.
There were 35 families invited that are all heart patients. The kids came from Sacramento, Stockton and the Bay Area. All of these kids have had heart surgery and many of the kids will have multiple surgeries throughout their life. “Angels for Hearts” make sure the entire family is invited so everyone can enjoy a fun outdoor recreational environment together as we grow the game of golf.
Kevin Sutherland was their headliner and did a fantastic job with the kids. He showed his passion and skills as he made it fun for the kids to continue to grow the game of golf. The picture proves it with the kids wearing their PING hats. Kevin gave each junior a hat and autographed all of them too.
Kelli Corlett and Coach Patrick Kelly from Haggin Oaks were also there to promote our junior programs and to show how the kids could continue their involvement with the game.
