Research and studies show that children are beginning to miss certain developmental windows in terms of speed, strength and hand-eye coordination because they are not âplayingâ as often as they should due to video games, the internet and other distractions. This course is designed to help participants ages 12- to 17 become a better overall athlete; strengthening the core, legs, back and working on balance and hand-eye coordination that will in turn make students better golfers.
The class will run on Saturdays from 4:00 to 5:30, January 12-March 9 and the cost is $149.95. Â The orientation will be at Haggin Oaks in the Pavilion on January 9th at 6:00 pm. Â The class itself will be held at the Parry Physical Therapy office (3401 Folsom Blvd. Suite B Sacramento, CA 95816). Â I truly think this class has great value, in that Greg Parry (local PT who works with PGA Tour players, the Sacramento Kings and other professional athletes) will be present as will Nick Waterworth, club-fitter at Haggin Oaks who is also a TPI certified personal trainer, will also be coaching the class.
