New Titleist GT Driver Review with Mike Woods

Mike Woods, PGA Director of Golf at Haggin Oaks reviews the new Titleist GT Driver.

The Titleist GT platform breaks new ground using materials never used in clubs before to create a transformative shift in performance. With a powerful new engine inside there is something almost unbelievable about how Titleist GT drivers optimize the distance dynamics of every drive. Speed is gained but also controlled, meaning you get the best possible distance and outcome from every swing.

The driver comes in three options:

GT 2 – For players who don’t always find the center of the face and need the stability of a high-MOI driver without sacrificing speed.

GT 3 – For players with a consistent impact location, GT3 offers a precisely adjustable CG Track to max out distance and directional control.

GT4 – For players losing distance due to spin rates above 3,000 RPMs, GT4 offers Titleist’s most aggressive spin-reducing driver.

To find out which driver is right for your swing, we recommend coming in for a fitting with one of our talented fitting professionals.

Demo Clubs are available and we are taking pre-orders at Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop, The new GT Driver will be in store August 23

Learn More About Club Fittings At The Haggin Oaks Player Performance Studio

Unlike most fitting studios, we combine state-of-the-art Trackman technology with you being able to see actual ball flight out onto the driving range. Ball flight is still at the heart and soul of golf equipment fitting. Don’t trust a net. Because golfers in the Studio can hit balls indoors to target greens outdoors, they will see and feel how the ball reacts just as if they were on the golf course. The reason leading manufacturers have designed and built their own test centers is because they know from years of experience that ball flight and feel are the confidence builders to making good golfers better golfers.

Use TrackMan For Your Fitting

Customers can have a Morton Golf Fitting Professional utilize exclusive TrackMan Technology for up to two hours. TrackMan uses the latest Doppler radar technology to monitor three-dimensional clubhead movement and the ball flight from impact to landing. The Golf Professional will also make specific recommendations for grip, shaft, flex, length, lie angle, loft, and head shape.

Fitting times range from one hour to two hours, depending on the type of fitting you sign up for. Visit the Haggin Oaks Player Performance Studio to learn more bout each fitting package.
