The New2Golf program is designed to introduce brand new golfers to the FUNdamentals of golf.
Golf can be intimidating. This program removes any barriers keeping a potential golfer from joining this great sport. Participants are introduced to a golf facility, etiquette, rules, booking tee times, how golf is played, selection of equipment, and basic, simple instruction to put the golfer on the path to improved play.
Time: 2 – 90 minute sessions (3 hours of total instruction)
Ratio: 10 students to 1 instructor

Meet the Instructors
Rob is a graduate of the Golf Academy of America in Phoenix, Arizona. Before arriving at Haggin Oaks, Rob acted as the coach for junior golf at William Land. In Rob’s experience, the better an individual can understand and own their golf game, the more rewarding it will be. Every player is different and we all have a learning style that works best for us.
Coaching New2Golf: Sunday 9-10:30 AM
Dick has been an instructor at Haggin Oaks since 1981 and has attended countless golf schools, teaching workshops, and PGA Teaching & Coaching Summits. Dick is known for his patience, understanding, and friendly demeanor. His philosophy is to keep instruction simple and easy to understand so that a fun atmosphere is created.
Coaching New2Golf: Monday/Wednesday 5:30-7 PM, Tuesday/Thursday 5:30-7 PM, Saturday 10-11:30 AM and 12-1:30 PM.
