Ping Introduces the First USGA Approved Adjustable Length Nome Putter and an Introduction to the Ladies Serene Putter

Ping has introduced the first adjustable length putter on the market with their Nome belly putter. It is the first adjustable length putter that has been approved by the USGA.

Frank LaRosa talks to Ping Representative Lee McCormick about this breakthrough technology.

To use, insert the Ping wrench into the shaft to loosen the clamp and adjust the length of shaft. You are no longer locked into buying a single length putter!

The Ladies Serene putter has a unique series of grooves called variable depth technology. The center portion of the grooves are deeper and the grooves are more shallow at the heel and toe. Therefore, a ball that is hit dead center (or a perfect putt) is going to have less metal to ball. In contrast, if you hit the ball off the toe or heel, the grooves are shallower and you are going to have more metal to ball and greater roll. Therefore, you will find greater consistency in your putting regardless of where you hit your shot across the face of the new Ladies Serene putter. Now your mishits are going to go as far as your perfect hits!
