Putting with Confidence leads to fewer putts. Fewer putts is the fastest way to lower scores, and improving your green reading skills is the fastest path to fewer putts.
Don Pottle is a Tenured Teaching Professional and Certified Vector Green Reading Instructor with the Morton Golf Performance Academy at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex in Sacramento, CA
At Performance Golf, Don teaches the Vector Green Reading System developed by Vector Green Reading LLC, using the ground breaking work of USAF (Ret) Colonel Horace A. Templeton’s “Vector Putting – The Art and Science of Reading Greens and Computing Break” first published in 1984.
The Vector System is a systematic scientific method based on fundamental physics for reading greens and being able to predict with a level of certainty the slope, speed, distance and direction of where to aim your putt.
It’s easy to learn, simple to use, accurate and quick. You can use the system the very first time you try it on the practice green or on the course. Using the Vector Green Reading Chart you will make the read in 20 seconds or less and it is permitted under the Rules of Golf and approved for play by both the USGA and the R&A.
Attend one of Don’s 90 minute classes and learn the science of green reading, how to “measure” the factors and “make more putts”. You’ll be glad you did. This is a hands-on class. Bring your putter and please plan to arrive at the class site 15 minutes prior to class start time.
