Haggin Oaks Golf Course is hosting the inaugural Hornet Golf Drive-a-Thon on Friday, October 12 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
Please join us for a fun evening on Friday, October 12, 2018, that is perfect for the whole family. The event will include fun activities for all ages: long drive competition, putting contest, corn-hole, and prizes. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. All proceeds will go to the Sacramento State Men’s golf program.
Donations from this event are applied to The Olympic Club Intercollegiate Tournament. This event is an addition to our traditional travel schedule. Funds raised at this event will go towards sponsoring the travel expenses and entry fee for this tournament for the Sacramento State Mens Golf Team.

- Admission is free! Come out and watch the Long Drive Contest and reconnect with multiple generations of Hornet Golfers.
- Participate in the Long Drive Contest: $20 per contestant 3 minutes to hit 5 drives Sign-up Here –
- Putting Contest (3 holes): $10 per family, $5 per person

Message from Head Coach Kamden Brakel, “Dear friends, family and supporters of Sac State Golf, Thank you for your support and donations to our program. This year we have an amazing opportunity to play at University of San Francisco’s home event at The Olympic Club in March 2019. The funds raised through this event will go towards the costs of this additional tournament. This tournament provides us the ability to play against top ranked competition at a world renowned golf course. The Olympic Club has hosted the U.S. Open five times and several other top USGA events. This tournament heightens the student-athlete experience and competition level. Again, I thank you for your support of our program and student-athletes.
