2018 State Fair Junior Championship
Boys Age 7-18 and Girls Age 7-11

You still have time to register for the 2018 State Fair Junior Championship for Boys ages 7-18 and Girls ages 7-11 at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex http://www.hagginoaks.com/ on Saturday August 25, 2018. This is a JGANC points event. Boys age 18 may participate as long as they have not started college prior to August 25, 2018. Again, the entry deadline is August 16, 2018.
Boys 12-13 will play 18 holes of medal play from the 2 Oaks tees. Boys 14-18 will play 18 holes of medal play from the 4 Oaks tees. All play for the 12-18 Boys will begin on hole number 1 with tee times beginning at 8:00AM. There will be three divisions â ages 12-13, 14-15 and 16-18. Ties for the overall boys champion (from the 14-15 and 16-18 age groups) will be played off, as will the first place in each age group. All other ties will be broken in accordance to USGA Rule 33-6.
Girls and boys ages 7-11 will play 9 holes of medal play with tee times starting at 8:00 AM on the Arcade Creek course. There will be two divisions for girls and two divisions for boys – ages 7-9 and ages 10-11. Ties will be broken using the USGA method of matching scorecards (Rule 33-6).
The entry fees are as follows:
⢠$72 for boys ages 12-18 who are JGANC members
⢠$82 for boys ages 12-18 who are NOT JGANC members
⢠$42 for girls and boys ages 7-11 who are JGANC members
⢠$52 for girls and boys ages 7-11 who are NOT JGANC members
All entry fees include greens fee, range balls, tee prizes, lunch and awards. The entry deadline is August 16, 2018.

Your still have time to register for the 2018 State Fair Junior Championship for Girls ages 12-18 at Mather Golf Course https://www.playmather.com/ on Saturday August 25, 2018.This is a JGANC points event. Girls age 18 may participate if they have not started college prior to August 25, 2018. The entry deadline is August 19, 2018.
The tournament will be 18 holes of stroke play with tee times starting at 8:00 AM. Girls ages 12-14 will tee off first and play from the Mustang (purple) tees, followed by girls ages 15-18, also from the Mustang (purple) tees.
Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each of the 12-14 and 15-18 divisions. There will also be a prize for the overall girls champion – the low score from the 12-14 and 15-18 divisions. The overall champion will have her name inscribed on a perpetual trophy. In the event of a tie for the overall girls champion, there will be a sudden death playoff. All other ties will be broken in accordance to USGA Rule 33-6.
The entry fee is $73 and includes greens fee, range balls, tee prizes, lunch and awards. The entry deadline is August 19, 2018.

2018 State Fair Women’s Championship

Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course
You still have time to register for the 2018 State Fair Women’s Championship at Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course http://www.bartleycavanaugh.com/ on September 1 and 2, 2018.
The entry deadline is August 22, 2018.
The tournament is open to all women amateur golfers age 18 or older by September 1, 2018, with an established USGA Handicap Index of 37.4 or less, members of a college golf team or by special invitation. Handicaps will be based on August 15 indexes and played to the lower of the USGA Handicap Index or Tournament Index (Modified USGA rules).
The field is limited to the first 100 paid entries by the August 22, 2018 deadline – no refunds after this date. The cancellation refund assessment fee is $20.
The Championship Flight contestants must have an index of 4.0 or less and will play at scratch from the back (blue) tees. Senior Flight(s), age 60+, determined by handicap or age (entries permitting) and Handicap Flight(s) will play using handicaps from the forward (black tees). Ties for overall low gross, overall low net and overall senior low net will be decided in a hole-by-hole playoff. All other ties will be decided based on the USGA recommended method (Rule 33-6, Decision of Ties).
Entry fees are $125 per person for non-Capitol City Play Cardholders; $120 for Capitol City Play Card holders or $115 for Seniors 60+ with Senior Capitol City Play Card. The entry fee includes two (2) days green fees and awards (power cart not included).

The Sacramento Golf Council presents the 2018 California State Fair Men’s Amateur Championship (SFC) at the Alister MacKenzie GC http://www.hagginoaks.com/alister-mackenzie/ at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex on September 1-3, 2018.
Eligibility
The SFC is primarily an exempt player event for 156 tournament scratch amateur golfers. 84 of the 156 spots are reserved for players meeting the exemption criteria as stipulated here: http://statefairgolf.net/eligibility/. Non-exempt amateurs are eligible to qualify via the Sacramento City or County Championships or through the U.S. Amateur qualifying.

You still have time to register for the 2018 State Fair Senior and Super Senior Championship at Mather Golf Course https://www.playmather.com/ on September 1 and 2, 2018.
The entry deadline is August 23, 2018.
The tournament is played at scratch and is open to male amateur golfers 55 and older with a current handicap index of 7.4 or less (Senior) and 65 and older with an index of 9.4 and less (Super Senior). The entry fee is $165 and includes two days of green fees, range balls, and awards (power carts not included). The competition will be stroke play over 36 holes (18 holes each day). In the event of a tie for the championship title (Senior and Super Senior), there will be a playoff.
All registration will be online using the red button below – no paper entries for this tournament.
