Mychal Weitzman has been the Tournament Director at Bing Maloney Golf Complex for the past two years. Before being promoted to Tournament Director Mychal worked as a Cashier at Bing checking in golfers before their golf rounds.
Before coming to Bing Maloney, he was employed with River Cats and Sacramento Kings doing multiple positions in both of their organizations.
Mychal has been playing golf since he was a young junior who was encouraged and taught by his grandfather who enjoys the game with him. In 2008 he was a volunteer at William Land Golf Course as a volunteer with the First Tee – Greater Sacramento working with the California Eagles.
Mychal had the opportunity to become a mascot in college at UOP in Stockton, CA. After college it was on to the next 5 season of working with “DINGER” at the River Cats baseball games.
When Mychal is not working or playing golf he enjoys cooking and experimenting with new foods. He also enjoys watching hockey and learning more about the sport.
