Stan Utley Putting 5 For Golfers
The Stan Utley Putting 5 was created during a merchandising show. This is the perfect golf expert to watch. He is one of the most well-known and sought-after short-game instructors in golf. He is a PGA TOUR winner; Stan currently ranks 14th according to Golf Digest’s “America’s 50 Greatest Teachers”. Stan holds the PGA TOUR record for fewest putts in nine holes with six at the 2002 Air Canada Championship. His current and former students have competed in the European, PGA, Web.com, Champions, LPGA, and other events worldwide, including Sergio Garcia, Darren Clarke, and Bill Haas. Stan’s passion is watching people “light up” when they have the experience of understanding and executing better golf through his instruction and encouragement.
Stan advises that the head swings on a curve. In addition, he remind golfers to look at the face and what is does. I believe you’re going to be most efficient if the face stays at 90 degrees to the curve.
Our VP of Coaching, Tom Morton, found this content and thought it of such value that he wanted to share it with all of our customers. This is a timeless video that offers excellent putting tips and demonstrations. Watch here and learn Stan’s putting methodology.
