Ben Steward from GolfersSkin Sunscreen talks to Frank LaRosa from Golf to Go on ESPN 1320 Radio on the importance of wearing sunscreen when you play golf – or let’s face it… whenever you go outside!
GolfersSkin Sunscreen has exploded on the PGA Tour with over 200 PGA Tour players currently using the product.
The thing I truly love the most about GolfersSkin Sunscreen is that this product does not go on greasy! I hate getting my hands greasy when I put on sunscreen. That is my number one pet peeve. With GolfersSkin, you don’t have to worry about that happening – ever! All non-essential oils have been removed from this product – when you sweat, it won’t start running into your eyes and burning you. This sunscreen won’t interfere with your grip when you hold the clubs and it isn’t going to bother you on the golf course.
Everyone needs to wear sunscreen when you go outside. Skin cancer is the diagnosed more than all other cancers combined.
Whoa. Let that sink in for a moment. Skin cancer is diagnosed more than breast cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, etc. And we have the ability to limit our chances of getting skin cancer by taking preventative care and applying sunscreen. And we all should do this this – every time we go outside and especially when we are going to go spend 4-5 hours on the golf course playing our next round of golf.
How much sunscreen should I apply?
A golf ball size amount of sunscreen should be enough to cover all exposed parts of your body before you hit the golf course.
How often should I reapply?
You should reapply every two hours. A simple rule of thumb when playing golf is, “Don’t Burn! Reapply at the Turn”
