In conjunction with The PGA of America’s national “Trade In & Trade Up Month,” Haggin Oaks Golf Expo also offers free club fitting and equipment trade-in opportunities. There will also be several PGA Tour manufacturer-fitting vans using state-of-the-art technology to get you super club fitted.
Golfers can cash in their “retired” golf gear with trade-in specialists at the Golf Expo, offering maximum dollar for thousands of clubs, staff bags, pull carts, and old training aids. The PGA Trade-In Booth will be located behind the Haggin Oaks Golf Super Shop during Golf Expo Weekend. Haggin Oaks Golf Expo is Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28 9am-5pm and Sunday, April 29 from 9am to 4pm.
Furthermore, we’ll issue you a gift card on the spot that you can use towards ANYTHING at ANY of the Morton Golf properties. While most people have their eye on new golf equipment (drivers, club sets, golf bags, putters, wedges, clothing, shoes, etc.), your gift card is also valid in our restaurant, on our driving range, and towards green fees at any of our golf courses (Haggin Oaks, Bing Maloney GC, Bartley Cavanaugh GC and William Land GC)!
“So few people take [old gear] now, and there’s not much that we won’t take in,” says Ken Morton, Jr. “Everybody has used equipment in their garages; they can clean it out and buy some new stuff utilizing their old stuff.”
Overall, the amount of credit varies based on the condition and age of the clubs. However, it’s all based on fair market value determined by the PGA.com Value Guide so you can expect a fair rate on the trade-in.
