Does your child need something to do after school or on the weekends!? Bring them to Haggin Oaks to join one of our junior golf classes! We offer programming Tuesday thru Sunday (programs differ from day to day), but certainly have something for everyone! Participants at any stage of development will have the chance to work on their golf skills, athletic skills, and life skills through the curriculum of The First Tee.

Our Fall Junior Golf Programs are starting soon at the Haggin Oaks Golf Course. Below is a list of programs we will be offering this fall season.
Fall After School Program
The Year Round After School Program is a class in which not only participants work on all facets of their golf game, learn the Life Skills of The First Tee, but also develop many athletic skills and movements that are critical to becoming an athlete and a more coordinated golfer. This program is special, in that children can come to the course and participate in class for up to three days a week!
- Ages: 5-17
- Dates: August 15 – December 14 (Skip Thanksgiving week)

Saturday Fall FUNdamental Movement
Participants of FUNdamental Movement will work on fundamentals of the golf game, as well as develop athletic skills that are not only beneficial to their golf game, but more importantly their overall health. Our junior golf camps are fun, engaging and educational. It is the primary goal of all of the coaches to make sure that our juniors have fun and walk away feeling comfortable at a golf course. How do we do this? We have fun! Lots of fun through the use of SNAG equipment, hula hoops, pool noodles and much more.

High School Prep
The High School Prep Class* is geared toward those participants who are interested in improving and possibly playing for their high school team. All facets of the game will be worked on in a station based set-up all the while learning more about The First Tee. There will be an opportunity to play 9 holes on the Arcade Creek Golf Course toward the end of the class session. *This class includes one day of play.

Masters Youth Development
The Masters Youth Development* program is meant for the teen participant who has some golf experience, but is looking for specific tools (learning how to practice, developing an understanding for course management, etc.) to take them to the next level. *This class is for participants who have some on course experience.

Sacramento City Play League
The Sacramento City Play League* is a great way to create lasting relationships with children similar in age and from other golf courses! Participants will play in one of three age groups: 7-9, 10-12 and 13 and above. Each week one specific age group will play at either Bing Maloney, Haggin Oaks or William Land Golf Course. Participants will utilize what they have learned in previous classes and apply it on the course. It is the goal of the program for junior golfers to become comfortable at other facilities, make new friends and improve their skills. Green fees are not included; participants are responsible for those the day of play.*Participants must be able to play 9 holes independently and in a timely fashion.

Tots on the Tee
Tots on the Tee is a junior golf program designed for children ages 3 and 4. Participants will be introduced to the basic concepts of the game and athletic movements to enhance hand and eye coordination development.
