Dave Knight has been a Volunteer Player Assistant for the past 3 years.
Before being a volunteer at Haggin Oaks Dave was in the lending business in our Greater Sacramento area. For the final 15 years of his career, he was a Government Relations Director at the California State Capitol. Dave traveled and represented 3 states with California being his main state.
Dave was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and was one of four children. His dad was transferred coast to coast as he was working in the pipe fitting manufacturing business and brought his family to the west coast.
Dave is fortunate to say he loves the game of golf and has been playing for over 50 years.
In his past career, he was involved in annual golf tournaments for business and liked the game so much that it become a great pastime.
He and his significant other for the past 22 years play golf together when they travel in their Motor Coach and also at Haggin Oaks.
Dave’s other love is his ’55 Chevrolet Bet Air Convertible Classic Car in bright red with all original parts.
Next time you are on the road and see a bright red ’55 drive by it may be Dave. Dave, thanks for all you continue to do at Morton Golf!
