Eligibility:Â Â Â This tournament is open to all golfers with or without an established golf handicap. Juniors must be age 18 or younger, and senior partner must be at least 15 years older than their junior partner.
Entry Fees:   $99.00 per 2-person team, Includes Green Fee, Lunch, Power Cart, Tee Prizes, and Awards.  Field is limited to the first 50 teams. YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO MAKE YOUR ENTRY THROUGH THE SACRAMENTO GOLF COUNCIL WEB SITE. (www.sacgolfcouncil.org). ALL CANCELLATIONS WILL INCUR A $10.00 FEE. VISA & MASTERCARD ACCEPTED. Deadline for entry is, July 30. 2014 â no refunds after this date. Please call Greg Bisi, Tournament Director, at (916) 224-1022 regarding cancellations. Format: Â Â This is an 18-hole 2-player team event. The competition will use a Chapman Scotch format (Hit, Switch and Choose). Complete rules will be explained on the day of play. There will be two Divisions established for play. A Handicap Division and a Callaway Division. For players with an NCGA Handicap, the July 2014 index will be used. Handicap Divisions will be for teams both having a current NCGA Index. The Callaway Division will be for teams with no NCGA Index or where only one team partner has an index. Each team must secure their own partner. Ties for the Championship will be broken by matching scorecards. TEE ASSIGNMENTS FOR JUNIORS WILL BE ADJUSTED BY HANDICAP INDEX ORÂ AGE!
Awards:Â Â Â Overall Low Net of Field will be crowned the Champions. Additional awards will be distributed to all Divisions and Flights. The number of awards will be determined by the number of tournament entries received. Presentation of awards will take place immediately following the conclusion of the tournament.
Rules:  All play will follow United States Golf Association (USGA) Rules, except for Local Rules posted by the Tournament Committee prior to play. In the absence of a Rules Official, the competitors shall refer any disputes to the Tournament Committee, whose decision shall be final. If any point in dispute is not covered by USGA or Local Rules, the decision shall be made in accordance with equity. All putts must be holed out. Players are responsible for returning their own attested and correct scorecard. Players are responsible for being on the first tee when called, or an appropriate penalty will be assessed.
UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCTâthe use of abusive language, throwing of golf clubs, or other Disruptive behavior will not be allowedâPENALTY:Â DISQUALIFICATION
Recommended dress code:  Appropriate golf attire; shirts with sleeves; no tank tops; shorts hemmed just above the knee; or slacks; denim clothing is discouraged. Bartley Cavanaugh is a spike less facility â metal, penetrating golf shoe spikes are prohibited.
Times:    This is a shotgun start at 8:00am. Contestants must check in at least 30 minutes prior to their starting time. Starting times will be posted on the SGC website www.sacgolfcouncil.org and at the golf course three(3) days prior to the tournament.  Bartley Cavanaugh Golf Course 916-808-2020
