MacKenzie’s Sports Bar & Grille is offering up an abundance of tasty specials this October.
With shorter days and cooler weather ahead, the perfect start to your day will be a scrumptious plate of Pumpkin Pancakes. I can’t think of anything that let’s me know fall is here more than the delicious aroma of pumpkin spice. The Pumpkin Pancakes at MacKenzie’s Sports Bar and Grille at Haggin Oaks are topped with caramelized bananas and crunchy walnuts. Combine that with bacon, ham or sausage and a couple of freshly cooked eggs and you will start your day (or your golf game) off on the right foot!
A good sandwich starts with the perfect bread and this month’s Jerk Chicken Panini starts things off right with a French baquette. Top this with a perfectly seasoned grilled chicken breast, smothered in pepperjack cheese and caramelized onions and topped with a cilantro lime aioli. The combination of flavors is exquisite and this is a lunch option that will keep you satisfied for hours.
MacKenzie’s Sports Bar and Grille is proud to offer a mouth-watering Lemon Pepper Tilapia Salad in October too. The tilapia is lightly seasoned and grilled and served over a bed of mixed greens, pears, dried cranberries and mandarin oranges. Each bite has a slight crunch with the inclusion of toasted pepitas. The dish is finished off with a refreshing champagne vinaigrette dressing. This is a perfect fall salad.
