Thursday, May 2nd, proved to be another fantastic morning for Speedgolf at the Haggin Oaks Golf Complex. The temperature was perfect, the back nine on the Arcade Creek Golf Course is in perfect condition, and the golf was awesome. Mike Woods shares his thoughts from his morning round of golf on the course earlier this morning…
“I learned today that the back nine is noticeably tougher than the front nine for Speedgolf. The course is tougher, especially #16, #17 and #18. And, the run is longer. The long run from #17 green to #18 tee is challenging, especially when you have to hit the tee shot on #18.”
“Today, I had a nine hole score of 39 in 35 minutes = 74 Total. Another Speedgolf participant, Tim, played 18 holes today and he shot 76 in 58 minutes for a total score of 134. Clearly, Tim is the pro at Speedgolf.”
“Overall, we had a blast and will be back to play again Sunday morning. Remember, we meet at 6am on Thursday and Sunday mornings, and we’ll tee it up around 6:15am. We are offering Speedgolf to the public and you can play nine holes for $10.”
