Golf is all about the swing, baby! But let’s be real, it’s not just about the technical stuff. It’s about the human element, too. That’s why I’m all about discovering the secrets to golf through body awareness, tempo, and balance. Once you’ve got those down, the technical side of the swing just falls into place like magic!
I first fell in love with golf over twenty years ago when my godfather took me to Peacock Gap in San Rafael. He taught me to focus on feeling the greens and finding my rhythm for putting. It was like music to my ears! And while sinking putts is great, the real magic of golf is in the connections and memories we make as golfers.
After college, I moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and became an interpretive raft guide on the Snake River. It was the perfect opportunity to connect with people and share interests. We’d talk about everything from the ever-changing nature of water to politics to the park history. And let me tell you, it was a wild ride!
My journey has taken me from rafting in Wyoming, to working at the United Nations in NYC, to building custom homes in Northern California. But through it all, golf has remained my primary focus. And now, I’m excited to combine my love for the game with my passion for teaching. I want to create a learning environment where we can explore the swing and constantly improve our skills. And who knows, maybe I’ll inspire a new generation of golfers to pay it forward and keep the game alive!
