Angels for Heart I ♥ Golf Clinic Begins in February At Haggin Oaks
Angels for Hearts developed I ♥ Golf—a first-of-its-kind annual series of golf clinics, held at Haggin Oaks Golf Complex, hosted in partnership and affiliation with The Morton Golf Foundation and The Northern California Institute of Golf for Kids. Golf is recommended for heart kids as a safe sport by pediatric cardiologists. For many heart kids, it is the first sport they have ever played. The free clinic series is for heart kids and their siblings ages 4 to 18, and each player receives their own set of clubs and a I ♥ Golf logo polo shirt.
Join us for 5 Saturdays – February 24, March 16, April 20, May 18 and June 8.
Check in begins at 1:30 and the Clinic is from 2 pm – 3:30 pm at the Haggin Oaks Academy Holes
Practice Balls and Clubs are included.
How It Started
Angels for Hearts is rooted in the inspiring story of its founder, Kimberly Kaufman. Kimberly Kaufman is a Sacramento native diagnosed with congestive heart failure at the young age of 30. Through her experiences in the hospital meeting pediatric heart patients and their families, Kim realized she was in a unique position to help. With her parents, Curtis and Patti Kaufman, Kimberly founded Angels for Hearts in 2008. If you want to read Kimberly’s full story check out this article on the Angels for Hearts Website.
