William Land Golf Course Helps Women get Involved in Golf With Their Welcoming Mentorship Program
Getting involved in something new is always intimidating, especially when it is as challenging as golf. Golf is often perceived as a male-dominated sport and this makes picking up golf an even more daunting task for some women. William Land Golf Course has created a safe and instructive environment where women are able to learn the game of golf without any pressure. The Ladies Fun Play Mentoring Program is designed for women of all skill levels and encourages them to play golf. Whether they are a beginner or have been playing for years, they are welcome.
Why You Should Join Ladies Fun Play
The Ladies Fun Play Mentoring Program is a great way to get learn the game of golf and can be much more beneficial than regular golf lessons. One of the mentors, Barbara, speaks on how it can very difficult to learn the etiquette of golf. Things like marking your ball or raking the bunkers aren’t taught in lessons and golfers often learn once they are barked at. At the Ladies Fun Play Mentoring Program, the entire game of golf is taught, including etiquette. Rather than barking at each other, mentors and players gently educate one another on etiquette. In addition to teaching etiquette, mentors help improve a golfer’s strategy and swing. The Ladies Fun Play Mentoring Program teaches the niche things of golf that you can’t learn from lessons.
It’s All About The Friendship
The Ladies Fun Play Mentorship program also relieves the stress of golf by focusing more on the connections made on the course. While everyone is there to golf many members say they enjoy the program because they are able to have fun and make friends. One member even states their favorite part of the group is lunch afterward because they all have fun socializing together. The Ladies Fun Play group has a lighthearted approach to golf that helps women learn the game and build connections.
