Abdon Manaloto & Lisa Mayeda Take Home First Place After Netting a Score of 61.5!
The Sacramento City Mixed Teams Championship held its 82nd annual event at Bing Maloney Golf Course on August 6th. The tournament consisted of 18 holes and twenty-six co-ed teams. Each team had a man and a woman. The tournament is open to all amateur golfers with an established golf handicap index and each golfer is responsible for finding their playing partner. This year was also the first time the tournament had been open to junior golfers. With everything in place, the tournament was played as scheduled.
This year’s tournament saw a close race for first as two teams tied with a net score of 61.5. The tournament saw team Abdon and Lisa face off against Joe and Rachel Truong in a tiebreaker. Ultimately Adbon Manaloto and Lisa Mayeda came out on top and took home the championship title. Congratulations to Adbon and Lisa! If you would like, you can view the full tournament results here.
